Samples Overview

The ReplixFax samples show how to perform the most common Faxing actions while using the ReplixFax SOAP API:

  • Sending a FAX
  • Checking on an outgoing FAX's status
  • Checking for new received faxes
  • Getting the FAX content of a received FAX
  • Marking a FAX as viewed

Credentials

In order to use the ReplixFax samples, you must first obtain a developer account with Softlinx. Once you have an account, you will be provided credentials. The credentials will contain:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Organization Name (your company name)

In order to perform real faxing, you must edit the code and change the placeholders listed below with the credentials provided by Softlinx:

  • <username>
  • <password>
  • <organization>

Access to Development Portal

You will be able to use the same credentials to log into the development portal.

In the portal, the username field should have both the username and organization name separated by '@'. Ex: admin@acme.
